Elizabeth Sommerfield is a Music Graduate who specializes in classroom and individual teaching. She works extensively in schools (both primary and secondary students) and also has a wealth of experience teaching adults. Many students have gone on to study music at university.
Her aim is to provide music tuition in a fun, relaxed atmosphere, whether working towards grades or just for the enjoyment of it.
Lessons are held in our studio during term time or on-line.
Vocal Coaching
Our vocal coach believes that, with guidance, anybody can learn how to sing. All styles are covered from classical to the latest songs. Learn the music you love with classical techniques that bring out the best in your voice. Student pass rate 100% with the majority achieving Distinction in LCM Musical Theatre.
Vocal coaching lessons are priced at £16.00 per ½ hour.
Elizabeth Sommerfield, B.A.(Hons) Music and Ed.
Elizabeth Sommerfield specializes in vocal coaching, guitar lessons and recorder lessons, and has been teaching music for 10 years. She has performed in many classical settings, including opera, and has also fronted an alternative rock band. A particular specialization has been musical theatre lessons, where all students entered for examinations up to Grade 8 have been awarded Distinction or Merit.
She is Musical Director to the 50 strong ‘Singing for All!’ community choir based in Olney. Recently she conducted a vocal workshop at the Royal and Derngate, Northampton with excellent reviews.
